Weldon, Certified Massage Therapist
I
began my massage therapy career in 1996, when I wanted to learn
about anatomy, physiology, pathologies, and wanted to help others
lessen their stress in a healthy, natural way. After completing
a
100 Hour-Massage
Technician course at California College of Physical Arts (CAL COPA), I
soon learned my basic massage skills were useful when performing Swedish
Massage and other stress relieving techniques. With an additional Pregnancy
Massage course, I went on to work part-time for local chiropractic offices
in Orange County.
As of October 2003, I took the opportunity to dedicate myself as a full-time
Licensed Massage Therapist. Within the next month, I completed an additional
100 Hour Massage Therapist I course back at CAL COPA and my range of skills
ranged from Swedish Relaxation massage, Trigger Point/Deep Tissue work,
and Foot Reflexology. Within the next few weeks, www.imassageu.com
was developed to describe the benefits of receiving regular massage therapy
and specific services I provide.
During
2006, I became re-certified in a 25 Hour-Pregnancy and Infant Massage
course and
submitted an additional 25 Hour-Pregnancy Massage Externship with CAL
COPA. I have had the honor of helping many expecting mothers throughout
the years with prenatal massage along with teaching them infant massage
techniques.
In
November 2006, I became an LMT (licensed massage therapist) where I continue
to work at a local Chiropractic office and Spa in Rancho Santa Margarita
as an independent contractor. I am also on-call for an OB/GYN in Ladera
Ranch as well as my own personal clients who receive regular in-home massage
therapy treatments. My personal client list has grown by leaps and bounds
and continues to grow thanks to the referrals passed along.
I
truly believe that massage helps the body heal itself naturally and more
rapidly. You will feel a difference once your body experiences the power
of touch.
“My clients are the best and they have all sought my service from other
clients as referrals. You really can’t describe the experience without
trying it out personally. You will feel a difference once your body
experiences the power of touch.”
